1. How does climbing Mt. Everest apply to the business environment?
A successful business is like a climbing expedition. Both require an inspiring vision, an accomplished team, perseverance to overcome obstacles and focus. Leadership, teamwork and each team member's performance play critical roles in the success of an expedition and a business.
2. What qualifies Stacy to speak on the topics of teamwork, change and risk taking?
I have been climbing mountains and leading successful expeditions for more than 20 years in remote regions around the world including Tibet, Pakistan, and Russia.
In addition to speaking, I own and operate a residential building company. We specialize in the restoration and remodeling of older homes. From my experiences of climbing and building I know, first hand, what it takes to succeed. Both demand strong teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication to provide the best quality products on schedule. Both require constant assessing and reassessing the changing environment to be able to take advantage of opportunities quickly-or to adjust strategies if needed. Both require assessing risks and incorporating them into daily decisions.
3. In what way is Stacy's program inspirational?
My story is exciting and uplifting. The audience shares in our struggles and eventual success and I always relate my stories back to the audience so that they can use the lessons for themselves the audience sees how they too, with focus and perseverance can achieve their goals.
4. What does Stacy try to accomplish in her keynote?
I bring the audience with me on the journey. I encourage audience members to move beyond limitations and reach for their dreams. I challenge audiences to lay the foundation for risk taking by accepting full responsibility for their lives. I also emphasize the importance of recognizing and valuing everyone's contribution as a team member in life's pursuits.
5. Can Stacy do a break out session? If so, what would her topic be?
I am happy to offer a break out session on Team Enhancement-What each attendee can do as an individual to enhance their working relationships and become a more productive member of their own team.
6. Other than her keynote, what other activities can Stacy provide for a meeting?
I enjoy participating in walks, hikes, whitewater boating, or teambuilding ropes courses. I also like to join the participants for a meal or other scheduled activities. The more I can interact with the audience before or after my presentation the more impact my message has. It's important to me and it's important to the participants.
7. Will Stacy agree to do an autograph session following her keynote?
Yes, many organizations invite me to make my books and poster available to their attendees on-site. This gives the attendees an opportunity to purchase personalized autographed gifts to take back home with them (again, reinforcing the message) Audience participants can also obtain Stacy's books and poster by
e-mailing Stacy.
8. We want to book Stacy, but cannot afford her fee. Any suggestions?

10. How will Stacy's message work with the theme of our meeting?
Prior to the event, I ask the meeting planner to complete a pre-program questionnaire. After I receive it, I make an appointment to talk with the meeting planner by telephone to discuss details of the event. I then personalize my presentation by weaving your theme and objectives into my message.
